National exhibitors convene at Australian Business Events Expo

Representation at this year’s Australian Business Events Expo (ABEE) is strong from diverse and regional areas, making the show a truly national snapshot of the whole business events industry.

The Expo has been successful in securing representatives from Tasmania, Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Canberra, NSW and the Northern Territory.

“The opportunity to provide an exceptional destination and product experience for visitors is second to none at ABEE. If regions aren’t on the show floor, they aren’t in the game for event buyers,” says sales and marketing manager, Georgia Blakeney.

“There are also great advantages for exhibitors and stand options are still available” said Blakeney.

The Northern Territory Convention Bureau will be exhibiting at ABEE for their third year.

“Having participated in three of the four years since ABEE’s conception, we have found the event to be growing year on year. The Expo has allowed us to maintain a profile and presence in the highly competitive business events marketplace, and provides a vital opportunity for us to connect with new clients, and showcase our destination.

“Each year, the Expo has consistently helped us reach our target market and our client base in one spot, at one time. The pre-event marketing is always first class, making the Expo with each passing year, a stand out event – growing in size and stature” said Scott Lovett, director of Tourism NT.

The wide scope of exhibitors will also reveal the different trends, diversity of product and offerings which are available across Australia.

The Northern Territory Convention Bureau, Melbourne Convention Bureau, Coffs Coast Marketing, Adelaide Convention Centre, Daydream Island, Hamilton Island, Tangalooma Island, Business Events Tasmania and regional New South Wales – including the Hunter Valley, Wollongong and Newcastle are just some of the organisations on board this year.

ABEE provides participants the opportunity to collect high-quality leads, build brand awareness, make sales, entertain loyal and prospective clients, and educate prospects and research the market.

Australian Business Events Expo will be held at Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre: 15 – 16 August, 2012. It is co-located with Sydney’s Event Showcase, 2012.
