The Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia is gearing up for the 2018 Global Exchange, taking place on 3 October.
The EEAA 2018 Global Exchange includes the annual events industry oration and the political insiders round-table.
Chris Skeith, CEO of the Association of Event Organisers based in the UK and UFI board member will deliver the oration at ICC Sydney.
Skeith led the transformation of Britain’s peak body for event organisers and advocacy for the sector. He is widely respected across Europe and previously headed the Event Supplier and Services Association and the Business Visits and Event Partnership.
Dr Vanessa Findlay, partner of Brickfielder Government Engagement and scientist, will lead the line-up for the political insiders round-table, which will be held at L’Aqua at Cockle Bay Wharf.
Dr Findlay was also formerly chief of staff to the Federal Minister for Tourism and Assistant Minister for Trade and Investment. She has had an active interest in the business events sector and its contribution to trade, investment and regional economic development.
The round-table is EEAA’s annual update on the state-of-play in Australian politics and its implications for Australian business.
