The InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG) is gearing up for its biggest ever Australian showcase of hotels and resorts, as the IHG Global Showcase 2008 heads to Sydney and Melbourne next week.
The IHG Global Showcase 2008 will feature the largest representation of InterContinental, Crowne Plaza and Holiday Inn hotels and resorts from across Asia Pacific, US, Europe, The Middle East and Africa to visit Australia as part of the annual event.
This year’s event will feature sessions developed for specific market segments and a huge pool of prizes, including a grand prize holiday with five nights at InterContinental London Park Lane, four nights in Singapore and return flights with Qantas Airways.
“IHG has added some phenomenal hotels and resorts across all brands over the last twelve months, not to mention the amazing properties slated to open in this region and around the world during 2009,” said IHG director of sales and marketing – Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific, Leanne Harwood.
“This showcase will be a rare opportunity to speak to IHG representatives from around the world, hear about the latest trends and destinations, and see what’s in store for IHG’s clients in the immediate future.”
The IHG Global Showcase 2008 hits InterContinental Sydney on Monday and Tuesday (September 8 and 9) and Melbourne’s Telstra Dome on Thursday and Friday week (September 11 and 12).
