The inaugural Hotel Hospitality + Design Expo 2010 (HHD) has announced it will host the hugely successful and established Hotel Operations and Technology Show (HOT) and is firming up a rich and diverse conference as part of the program.
Some of the most influential hoteliers and suppliers from around the world will reveal their secrets of success and offer advice for the future. Delegates of HHD will get an insight into gaining a competitive advantage in what is a broad and evolving industry.
The Hotel Hospitality + Design show is shaping up to be the biggest hotel and hospitality show of the year. The Expo will be divided up into exciting feature areas covering all areas of the industry:
Design – See the latest in hotel, foyer, guest and function room design, and new refurbishment ideas.
Stepping Out – Focuses on the al fresco side of hospitality space – featuring the latest in outdoor landscaping solutions, blinds, shutters, pavers and more.
Hotel Essentials – The latest in soft and hard furnishings, decorative ideas and pampering products.
Resort and Spa – Devoted to high-end luxury products and ideas for the resort and spa market.
Hotel Mechanics – Key operational elements including, air-conditioning, heating, energy management systems and sustainable solutions.
Raising the Bar – Showcasing beer, wine, spirits and non-alcoholic product lines through an innovative integrated feature area covering 800 square metres.
Behind the Scenes – Superannuation, training, finance, employment and security solutions.
Play – The latest in entertainment, activities, amusement and state of the art signage.
Technology – Showcasing the latest in customer relationship management, in-room technologies, IT, POS solutions, AV and lighting.
In addition, HHD will feature a design forum, an outdoor forum, a hotel room of the future, a seminar theatre and staff training area. The show has also announced two major industry supplier sponsors- Dulux and Philips.
Both companies are supporting the event as the Refurbishment Stage and LCD & Lighting sponsors respectively.
The show is set to take place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre on May 24-26 2010.
