Thousands of event professionals will meet at RSVP Sydney 2010, the premier tradeshow for the events industry, when its doors open in only three weeks with brand new features, exciting seminar talks and a social media presence.
Expert suppliers of venues, catering, entertainment and special event management will showcase their work to event organisers who visit the tradeshow for event inspiration, business deals and education starting on 22 July at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre.
Brand new features this year include RSVP in Bloom – a stunning gallery of floral arrangements, showcasing the latest creative ideas on the market.
For the very first time PAs, EAs and Office Professionals will have a feature dedicated to them – RSVPA where they will find information, education and supplier contacts that meet their particular needs. They are also invited to network with industry colleagues and grow new business connections during the Champagne Party on The Hub.
Joining the show this year are some of Sydney’s finest restaurants, cafes and bar venues who will form the dining strip The Avenue, a new feature allowing event organisers to canvass the best venue options in one place. The Shine Stage also returns with the latest in event entertainment performing live on stage.
The popular Event Talks will return again this year with a fresh series of ideas, advice and trend spotting.
An experienced line-up of speakers will present Event Talks, a series of twelve educational seminars covering the challenges and trends facing event professionals.
“The seminars are a rare chance to learn from the success of our industry leaders. Their insights and advice will be invaluable to event organisers looking to grow their skills,” says event talks organiser, Georgia Blakeney.
And returning this year is the always anticiapted VIP networking party – RSVP After Dark.
“BelleLaide Events is transforming the Museum of Sydney for a very special experience this year. Hundreds of VIP event industry figures will mingle amongst the walls of history and discover the ‘secrets of Sydney’,” says event organiser Delwin Kriel.
Delegates and exhibitors to the show can now join up with each other online at the RSVP Facebook and Twitter pages. The inclusion of social media in this year’s show allows more interaction and facilitation of business relationships.
RSVP Sydney will be co-located with Australian Business Events Expo, allowing visitors to explore the diverse aspects of the events industry at the same place and time.
RSVP Sydney opens at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre from 10.00am to 5.00pm on 22-23 July. Tickets to the show are free. Event organisers recommend registration online to avoid queues.
