Yesterday (11 Aug) live at Sydney’s Event Showcase, Decorative Events and Exhibitions drew the name of the anticipated winner from their 10th anniversary competition.
The winning entry was annoucned yesterday at Sydney’s Event Showcase.
The winning event, a charity event ‘Save our Sons’ will be held at Luna Park Sydney on 3rd December and will receive a $30,000 boost to its budget towards décor hire, theming, custom made products, labour and services.
The competition, in celebration of Decorative Events & Exhibitions 10 year anniversary was drawn in the afternoon of day two at Sydney’s Event Showcase and the winner, Abbey Omran from Scope Productions was onsite to gratefully accept her award.
The ‘Save our Sons’ event will be hosted by Allan Jones and will include performances by Anthony Calea, Wendy Matthews and Stan Walker in an effort to raise $1 million for the first human clinical trial to combat Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a form of muscular dystrophy affecting only males, characterised by aggressive muscle degeneration.
