The Public Relations Institute of Australia’s (PRIA) 2015 national conference will be held in Hobart from 25-27 October 2015.

said, “Delegates will be encouraged to make the most of the trip to Tasmania and wrap pre or post touring around the conference. Importantly Tasmanian communications professionals will have an opportunity to hear from a range of dynamic national and international speakers and network with other PR professionals.”

PRIA CEO Ray Shaw said, “PRIA has a long and proud history in Tasmania with many National Presidents and Fellows coming from the Island State. Tasmanian professionals now have the opportunity to influence content, set the agenda to benefit their practice, participate on panels, and to chair sessions. The conference also recognises the strong government PR and communications sector and will offer highly focused content for that.”

The conference will include a research symposium presenting leading academic research papers, a daylong master class, two days of conference sessions and an awards dinner. The final day will have optional special interest group meetings for government, consultancy, corporate and not-for-profit practitioners. The full program will be available in April.
