Seminars providing an insight into corporate travel management will again be held in conjunction with the Pacific Area Incentives and Conferences Expo (PAICE 2012) in Auckland on November 13.

Two leaders in their respective fields of travel have already been confirmed to present at the seminars.

Rachel Harper, regional director of the Global Business Travel Association Australia / New Zealand (GBTA AUS/NZ) will present a session titled ‘Business travel forecasting.’

The Pacific Area Incentives and Conferences Expo (PAICE 2012) is set to take place in Auckland on November 13.

Attendees will get a global and regional glimpse of the business travel industry based on data from over 70 countries. People attending this session will be able to plan future budgets more effectively.

GBTA AUS/NZ is the regional arm of GBTA and the premier business travel organisation providing education and events to the business travel industry.

Stuart Udy, manager, Expedia Travel Agent Distribution Asia – Pacific, will lead a session entitled ‘Trends in the booking of corporate travel – online tools and travel evolution’.

The online booking environment has changed the way people purchase their travel. Udy will lead an interactive session covering everything from low cost carriers (LCCs), pre-paid packages, price versus flexibility, how online booking fits in with traditional travel management and more. He’ll also give a snapshot of the ‘new’ destinations attracting Australasian corporate travellers.

Questions and audience feedback will be welcomed at both sessions.
