The economic downturn and ways the event industry can overcome it will be chief among the many issues addressed at when Meetings & Events Australia (MEA) holds its National Conference in Adelaide in April.

Other issues to be addressed included national and International trends for meetings and events, business events strategy, developments in aviation, software and technology, as well as a number of relevant case studies that show in a microcosm some of the larger issues facing the industry.

The conference will feature a number of inspiring speakers, including Adelaide-born Gill Hicks, who was recently made a Member of the British Empire for her charitable services since losing both her legs in the terrorist bombings in London.

The 22nd annual MEA National Conference will take place between Apr 5 and April 7 at various locations in Adelaide.
To exhibit at the conference or get involved as a sponsor, email anna@mea.org.au or call 02 9929 5400.
