Meetings and Events Australia (MEA) has confirmed digital marketing strategist Mike Zeederberg will present at MEA’s annual conference Evolve 2019.
Zeederberg has spent 20 years of his life helping brands use digital to drive business outcomes and for the last decade has run his own digital marketing strategic consultancy called Zuni.
His session, titled Customer Journey Mapping, will explore how customer journeys can be the cornerstone for developing effective digital strategies for businesses.
“This session will unpack why customer journeys have come of age, and how they can be used to put together a customer centric strategy, whilst still delivering channel –centric execution plans,” said Zeederberg.
“The session will also cover common journeys in the event industry and provide examples and practical tips about how to develop your own journeys.”
Zeederberg said attendees will leave the session with the following three takeaways:
- What are customer journeys, and why is everyone suddenly so excited about them?
- The difference between a customer journey and a brand touchpoint map, and why it matters
- Making sure you chose the right journeys to map, and examples of different experience map models that can be applied around events and different customers – i.e. the sponsor, the speaker, the exhibitor, the attendee, etc.
Evolve 2019 will take place at Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre from 31 March to 2 April.
