Queensland suppliers have two compelling reasons to register as soon as possible to exhibit at Convene Q 2015 – the earlybird rate comes to an end next Friday (March 20) and the show looks like it will sell out.

Convene Q 2015 will return to the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on July 28, with sale well ahead of where they were this time last year. The expo showcases Queensland venues, convention bureaux and regional tourism offices, speakers, attractions, accommodation, activities, team building companies and others who supply products and services to the business events sector.

It attracts association buyers, corporate and government sector meeting planners, professional conference organisers, and incentive practitioners from southeast Queensland and beyond. A hosted buyer programme is available to qualified attendees from New Zealand, Sydney, Melbourne and other parts of Australia.

Convene Q event manager Allyssa Eastaugh said, “The success of the first Convene Q last year has meant the market has been quick to secure stands for 2015. Convene Q, like others in the Convene portfolio, is a boutique style exhibition with one major objective – to connect the right buyers with the right suppliers.”

She says while the core element of that ‘connection’ is the expo itself, Convene Q also includes networking opportunities such as a welcome function, working lunch and morning and afternoon teas on the expo floor, plus thank you drinks at the end of the day. Convene Q also has an educational seminar program, adjacent to the exhibition floor.

First time exhibitors already confirmed for Convene Q include Australia Zoo, crowdcomms-GalaBid, Crowne Plaza Surfers Paradise, Hotel Jen Brisbane, InterContinental Sanctuary Cove, Outrigger Surfers Paradise, The Lakeside Sunshine Coast, Royal International Convention Centre, Simply Great Ideas and Suncorp Stadium.

Returning exhibitors range from the PCO Association and Business Events Sunshine Coast to Hotel Urbane Brisbane, Hamilton Island and many more.

Hosted and local buyer registration will open in late March.
