Global designers and hotel portfolio executives will be revealing insights from Australian hotel projects at the Design Inn Symposium in Adelaide on April 30.
The program includes a mix of speakers discussing design concepts and local hotel projects currently in the pipeline.
A one-on-one Q&A session will also be held with Damien Perrot, Accor’s Global Chief Design, Technical Services and Innovation Officer, who is flying in from Paris.
A Breakfast Masterclass kicks off the program with Salter Brothers’ project director Marie Colangelo giving insights into working with Accor.
“The masterclass offers a unique opportunity to share the various design and procurement approaches and the insights gained,” says Colangelo.
“Major projects like the rejuvenation of an entire portfolio of hotels bring their own challenges and opportunities.”
Other presentations include Design Partnership Australia founder Callie van der Merwe sharing global trends in his keynote presentation, “Design for Wellbeing”. He will detail how spaces can promote well-being and healthy social interaction through Enviro Hacking.
The conference will also showcase Ennismore’s director of lifestyle design Ellen Stenholm, Indyk Architects’ design director Shelley Indyk, Chada partner Juliet Ashworth, and RF CorVal Transactions manager Maria Verner.
