Held at Adelaide Oval, the event attracts delegates from the Asia Pacific hotel sector for two days of keynote speakers, panel sessions, presentations, exhibitors and networking opportunities.
In addition to AHICE, the Design Inn and Future Leaders Forum takes place at SkyCity Adelaide on 30 April, 2024.
AHICE takes networking to the next level with opportunities to connect with hotel industry colleagues and key leaders.
On day one of the event, delegates will have the opportunity to mingle with senior industry personnel at intimate sessions and informal Q&As.
On day two, Accor will present an afternoon tea at award-winning Luma Restaurant and Bar.
Many top hoteliers are appearing at AHICE 2024, including IHG Hotels and Resorts chief executive officer – Europe, Middle East, Asia and Africa, Kenneth Macpherson; Travel and Leisure Co president and managing director, international operations, Barry Robinson; Outrigger Hospitality Group president and CEO Jeff Wagoner; and EVT chief executive officer Jane Hastings.
Harsha L’acqua, founder and CEO of Saira Hospitality – which creates pop-up hospitality schools with hotel owners for less privileged locals in thriving hotel markets – will also be a keynote speaker.
In the first session on day one, analysts and industry leaders will share key outlooks. Later that day, JLL chief executive officer – Asia-Pacific, hotels, Nihat Ercan, will present the 2024 Asia Pacific real estate outlook.
Other panel sessions during AHICE 2024 will be “Long Stays – Apartment Hotels, Branded Residential and Co-Living Spaces”; “The Media – Maximising Earned Coverage and Working with the Press”, which will feature Spice editor Gavin Dennett; “The Operators’ Outlook For 2024 and Beyond”; “Essential Sustainability – The Keys to Success in 2024 and Beyond”; and “The Asset Managers’ Outlook”.
