Sheraton on the Park in Sydney is upping its events game, this week announcing a three million dollar refresh of its dedicating meetings and events floor.

The upgrade of the Grand Ballroom, Hyde Park Room, Phillip Room and pre-function area on the second floor will begin next month and follows the recently completed $45m refurbishment of the hotel’s 558 guest rooms and executive club lounge.

“The business events market has been growing and innovating at an incredible pace, and we are delighted to be at the forefront of delivering truly differentiated spaces, experiences and service,” said David Fraser, General Manager, Sheraton on the Park.

“While history will always be the fabric of our DNA, we are excited to deliver the next wave of innovative offerings, matched by inspiring design and legendary service, to continue attracting the best events.”

The new-look will feature a bold and sophisticated colour palette of smoky greys and taupes, dark timbers and touches of brass to elevate the grandeur of the spaces.

The function rooms will sit comfortably alongside the hotel’s existing areas and recent refurbishment works with design elements connecting to details in the lobby atrium.

On arrival to the floor, the newly designed pre-function area will provide a transition between the grand atrium lobby and  the meeting rooms. The use of screens, antique mirror, geometric patterns and purposeful seating arrangements create a strong sense of arrival.
