The Ultimate Conference For The Australian Event Industry – Program Launch

The Program for the 2017 MEA National Conference will be launched on Monday 6 February at mea2017.com.au.

The MEA Program Committee has designed the business program to appeal to all industry sectors and caters for the different levels of experience.  There are four concurrent sessions  as well as ‘hands on’ workshops that embrace four core pillars; industry, professional development, operations and business.

The plenary sessions will be presented by international and national speakers including Jack Delosa from The Entourage, Catherine Simmons Vice President of Dreamforce USA, Jordan Nguyen, Dr Nicole Ferdinand, UK and a panel of speakers who will share their experiences in challenging the status quo.

A Pre-conference famil and tour program on Saturday 29 April has been included to offer delegates the opportunity to experience the many aspects of the host city and regional event facilities.  Some of these tours will be limited and confirmation will be allocated to the first to register.

The Event Showcase of 60 stands will be an extension of the program and will be the centre of activity with an element of fun. The Showcase will be like no other at a MEA Conference.

The social program promises to deliver all that you would expect from a MEA Conference.  It  will showcase some new venues across Sydney culminating with the event industry’s night of nights, the 2016 MEA Awards, to be held in the spectacular Ballroom at ICC Sydney overlooking the city skyline.

There will be many ‘take outs’ from this conference.  Not only will you have the opportunity to experience Australia’s newest world class convention centre, you will also learn, be inspired, grow, discover, network  and celebrate.

A dedicated social media campaign has begun to update you on the conference activity and we encourage you to keep watching the industry media and your emails as more information will become available throughout February.

Register and book your accommodation now so that you don’t miss this rebooted industry conference.
