Video: IHG’s CCO Barr talks Kimpton expansion, business travel and more

IHG’s Chief Commercial Officer, Keith Barr, says the company has had a solid 2015, with RevPAR up 5.1% for the start of the year, the most number of signings since 2008 and solid guest feedback across all of the brands.

In the exclusive video interview in London with Spice’s sister magazine HM, Barr, who has been CCO since May 2013 and was formerly Chief Operating Officer for Australia, New Zealand, and South Pacific, revealed plans for Kimpton Hotels and Resorts’ global roll-out, how the company uses guest data, strategies for all of the brands, business travel trends and much more.

Spice flew to London with Emirates. On Emirates, which flies daily to London via Dubai, expect world-class service, food, wine, seats, entertainment and amenities right across all three cabins. In Business Class on the Airbus A380s, guests have access to the onboard bar, which serves up martinis, espresso martinis, Rob Roys, Mojitos, Manhattans in a lounge complete with couches and snacks, such as shepherds pies, on demand.
