The Collaroy Hotel (aka ‘The Collaroy’) re-opens today as a fresh new entity, owned and run by a new management team with a new look and feel.

General manager and Northern Beaches local Alistair Flower said, “Our real core is community. We are working closely with local businesses and groups, from fitness clubs, nippers, to mums groups, together creating lifestyle offerings that go beyond a drink and a feed.”

With new interiors by H.G.W Design group, the venue has a ‘Hamptons meets Raffles Singapore’ vibe with rotating plantation fans, lush tropical greenery and relaxed, beachy furniture.

Flower said, “We’ve knocked through four huge terraces that make up the new Collaroy, for the first time taking in the far Northern space and opening us up to amazing coastal views. The upstairs space is the easiest way to get perspective on just how much we’ve transformed The Collaroy.  From the street we’ve been careful to maintain the iconic heritage features, while our new logo and name give a nod to the Collaroy steamship that ran aground on the reef right out the front of the hotel back in 1881.”

Head chef Ben Varela will be turning out a locally sourced, organic, seafood-heavy menu featuring dishes like pan fried snapper with lemon butter, seared sesame tuna, along with the classic pub stalwart of good steaks.

The Collaroy has a range of venue and private function options and is located at 1064 Pittwater Street, Collaroy NSW.
