The closest beachside conferencing hotel to the Sydney CBD, Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach has revitalised its event facilities with a coastal design and facilities to complement the new AV systems installed last year.

Designed by architecture and interiors firm, Rothe Lowman, the hotel’s MICE facilties now feature custom-designed carpets, furniture and wall and ceiling treatments in coastal colours.

The hotel’s new ballroom

Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach’s pre-function and breakout areas have also been enhanced, with the introduction of a new lounge space for breaks and informal meetings, and a permanent registration area and event organiser’s office opposite the hotel’s main entrance.

Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach general manager Kate Gerits said, “For the first time, our meeting spaces truly reflect our location. The fact that we are so close to Sydney Airport, the CBD and one of the city’s best beaches is often a key factor in why we’re chosen as a meeting and event destination.”

The new meeting and event spaces at Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach can fit up to 350 guests for a cocktail function or theatre-style presentation in the newly refurbished Oceanic Ballroom, and are available now.
