ISES launches new conference for up-and-comers

The International Special Events Society (ISES), Sydney Chapter, have launched a conference for emerging event professionals called 'Colour Outside The Lines'. The 2013 event will take place at Marquee at The Star, 22 October.


The International Special Events Society (ISES), Sydney Chapter, have launched a conference for emerging event professionals called ‘Colour Outside The Lines’. The 2013 event will take place at Marquee at The Star, 22 October.

Scott Bellingham, President of ISES Sydney said, “With this event we want to encourage and promote creativity, innovation, teamwork and professionalism to ensure a bright future for the events industry.

“The conference program has been designed to inspire the up and coming of the industry via a direct connection with experienced industry professionals. It really is a golden opportunity for students and events professionals who are just starting out,” added Mr Bellingham.

The program includes hands on workshops and presentations titled, ‘Launch Your Career’, ‘Epic Fail’, ‘Innovation in Events’, and ‘Events and Technology’.

The  presentations will be delivered by events professionals, including; Damian Damjanovski (Common Ventures), Keith Wootton (AV1), Meri Took (Staging Rentals and Construction Services), Rob Frank (Verve Creative), David Merrell (A00 Events), Darryl Lovegrove (Lovegrove Entertainment), Lena Malouf (Event Specialist), Nigel Collin (Ingenious OZ Project) and Felicity Zadro (Zadro Communications).
