Oaks Hotels & Resorts is continuing to expand its property portfolio in New South Wales with the announcment of the recent acquisition of an additional Sydney property: Oaks on Castlereagh.

Occupying a prime position in Sydney’s CBD, the former Regis on Castlereagh has officially become Oaks on Castlereagh on 1 August 2012.

The 4.5 star property provides guests with city convenience and direct access to Sydney’s cultural, nightlife, arts and entertainment options along with a number of iconic landmarks, cafes, fine dining establishments and choice of public transport.

Formerly the Regis on Castlereagh, the property has been rebranded as Oaks.

“We see the launch of Oaks on Castlereagh as an excellent opportunity to foster existing relationships with local, interstate and international guests who are looking for superior accommodation, unsurpassed service and quality leisure facilities in a prime location but also introduce new markets to our growing portfolio of Sydney city properties,” said Daniel Csortan, area director of sales and marketing for Oaks Hotels & Resorts.

“While Sydney boasts an abundance of hotel options, the Oaks brand is synonymous with affordable, contemporary, self-contained apartments that appeal to a range of demographics and we therefore look forward to welcoming an influx of singles, couples, families and groups to our newest property,” said  Csortan.

Opening with 50 rooms stretching across 29 floors, Oaks on Castlereagh offers a selection of studios with kitchenettes, and one two and three bedroom apartments featuring full kitchens, laundry facilities, large open plan living areas, flat screen TVs and private balconies with unique city panoramas.
