Architecturally designed along the lines of a wine barrel with red rammed earth walls and sweeping ceiling arcs, The National Wine Centre has been  awarded Best Function Centre, Caterer of the Year and Best Wedding Venue multiple times at the SA Restaurant and Catering Awards in recent years. Set in beautiful parklands, it draws rave reviews from conference delegates seeking an alternative to hotel-style venues.

The appointment continues a year of major growth for Scene Change, highlighted by their appearance in the top half of BRW Magazine’s Fast Starters list, which ranks Australia’s fastest-growing startup businesses.

The new Scene Change operation will equip the National Wine Centre with the latest presentation technology for the digital era, including instant random access video playback, lighting systems controllable by iPad, and optic fibre cabling to handle the next generation of high definition visuals.

“The Centre has developed a reputation for quality service and product, so we look for partners that will deliver a matching level of excellence. For the National Wine Centre that partner was Scene Change. They have a strong national profile as the service and innovation leaders in this industry,” said Adrian Emeny, general manager of the National Wine Centre.

Scene Change also brings a welcome approach to sustainable events. All Scene Change events have been 100% carbon offset since 2007, and they have led the industry in adopting new, low-energy consumption technology.

“The National Wine Centre is a great fit for us,” said Scene Change Adelaide director Rob Armstrong. “It’s a unique and beautiful space to work in, and they have a very personal , individual approach with their clients. Scene Change works the same way, and we’re very excited about becoming part of their team.”

Scene Change at the National Wine Centre can be contacted from November 1 on 08 8303 6071 or nwc@scenechange.com.au
