Leading companies support Exhibition and Event Awards

The Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia welcomes Octanorm, Microhire and Luna Park as the first round of official sponsors for the EEAA Awards for Excellence 2011, set to take place in late 2011.

The Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia (EEAA) welcomes Octanorm, Microhire and Luna Park as the first round of official sponsors for the EEAA Awards for Excellence 2011, set to take place in late 2011.

Octanorm, who has been a major event partner for the EEAA Awards for two years in a row, has shown its support and commitment to the Awards by sponsoring the event for a third year.

“We are pleased to welcome Octanorm on board as an official event sponsor for a third year – its contribution to the Awards helps us to continue offering a platform to recognise and celebrate the success of our industry colleagues,” said Matt Pearce, President, EEAA.

EEAA will this year host the Awards for Excellence at Luna Park’s Crystal Palace, located adjacent to the harbour side and within one of Sydney’s most iconic settings.

“We’ve been working with EEAA closely for the past couple of years and I’m excited they have chosen to hold the event here,” said Gary Daly, general manager.
“The Crystal Palace is a relatively new place for people to consider having exhibitions, and given our relationship with EEAA we hope to continue to strengthen and build relationships within the exhibition industry,” he said.

Australia’s leader in audio visual and AV equipment hire, Microhire, will be offering its audio-visual expertise to help bring to life the venue space on the evening.

“The EEAA Awards represent an opportunity to celebrate the very best innovation and imagination our industry has produced this year,” said Thomas Armati, general manager, Microhire.

“The values shared between EEAA and Microhire have created a great affinity that only adds to our delight in offering ongoing support,” he said.

“As a long standing member of the association and proud supplier to some of Australia’s most recognised exhibition brands we are always pleased to return something special to our friends in the exhibition and events industries who have supported us for so many years,” said Armati.

The Awards aim to recognise outstanding merit and leadership within the industry and provide an opportunity for members to showcase their innovation, performance and success.
