Creative components of the Meetings Success program at Crowne Plaza hotels in Terrigal, Coogee Beach and the Hunter Valley were showcased on a recent famil for event organisers from Queensland and Victoria.

The three-day famil began with a al fresco buffet lunch at Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach where guests enjoyed lunch overlooking the sands and sea of Coogee Beach.

The group then embarked on a scenic transfer to Crowne Plaza Terrigal via seaplane, giving PCOs a bird’s-eye-view of the magnificent coastal scenery from Sydney to the Central Coast.

Upon landing in Terrigal, the group was greeted with champagne, which they sipped while making their way along the beach to the hotel. That evening, PCOs worked their way through a sumptuous dinner in Crowne Plaza Terrigal’s beachfront Seasalt restaurant, followed by a night in the hotel’s refurbished guest rooms, overlooking the ocean.

The next morning, the group made their way to Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley where they were met with more champagne, this time from the local region, and a delicious light lunch at the hotel. Later, guests participated in a horse and carriage led wine tour and appreciation class at nearby Ballabourneen winery followed by a private off-site dinner in the Ballabourneen wine room.

Post-dinner drinks were served back at Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley’s Vista lounge and bar, after which, guests retired for the night in the hotel’s guest rooms.

After a buffet breakfast at Redsalt, the group as treated to a selection of indulgent spa rituals at the hotel’s Tea Tree Day Spa. PCO were then transported in stretch hummers provided by Newcastle Hire Cars, to nearby Newcastle Airport for their flights home.
