To many in the broader events industry Gabrielle was best known for her involvement with AIME while at the Melbourne Convention and Visitors Bureau and later Reed Exhibitions and most recently with Exhibition Trade Fairs (ETF) working on the Australian Business Events Expo.

“Many in our industry who knew Gabs well were aware of her ongoing battle with illness”, said Rodney Cox from ETF. “Those of us who lucky enough to work along side her were inspired by her positive attitude and sense of humour and our team are greatly saddened by her passing.”

Most recently, the team at Spice Magazine and SpiceNews.com.au worked closely with Gabrielle  in partnership with the Australian Business Events Expo and considered her not only a colleague but a friend.

A service for Gabrielle will be held this Friday 10th December at 9:30am at St Johns Catholic Church, 494 Whitehorse Rd, Mitcham, VIC followed by the Lilydale Memorial Park Cemetery, 128 Victoria Rd Lilydale.
