Moreton Hire Reveals 2010 Special Event Trends At NYE Event

Moreton Hire knows how to celebrate in style and at New Year’s Eve celebrations for a prominent Gold Coast family the company will showcase its full range of trends in furniture and finishings, and the latest in temporary structures – all available in 2010.

Business development manager at Moreton Hire, Michael Hanlon, said they’ve been quietly preparing to surprise guests and the industry with the culmination of all that will be big in 2010.

“This New Year’s Eve will be celebrated with the pinnacle in entertaining, setting an early bench mark for the events of the year to come.

“We have sourced the latest trends across the events industry and combined them for maximum effect at the one event to demonstrate the full scope of Moreton Hire’s ‘party prowess’,” Hanlon said.

Perspex is still popular for 2010 with the clear acrylic ‘Ghost’ chair an entertaining staple, as well as Moreton Hire’s bespoke pieces.

A new feature to be seen at the party will be the innovative use of LED lighting to illuminate furniture and fittings, as well as a complete clear walkway lit in the same way.

Decorations have moved forward in 2010 to encompass items such as inflatable spheres in a range of sizes and colours and other design inspired pieces with clean lines.

The unique ‘Uniflex’ structure will be in use at the New Year’s Eve celebrations and is already gaining interest and bookings for the 2010 calendar – a standout with its 3m legs and custom awnings, already seen this year at the PGA Australian Open in Sydney.

Internal glass walls will double as framing for prints featuring the guest of honour at the celebration and are set to be a huge trend in 2010, particularly for birthdays and weddings where photographic retrospectives can be created.
