Industry Feedback Sought for Star City Expansion

With Sydney's Star City undergoing a $475 million upgrade, the venue has invited industry members to voice their feedback at an exclusive event on June 9.

With Sydney’s Star City undergoing a $475 million upgrade, the venue has invited industry members to voice their feedback at an exclusive event on June 9.

The Sydney chapter of the International Special Events Society (ISES) is hosting and exclusive event for all industry members giving them the unique opportunity to hear first-hand from Star City’s director of Sales Julian Good what the extensive investment will include and provide feedback.

The investment into the Star City complex is expected to include a covered outdoor terrace venue able to accommodate 2000 cocktail style with city and Harbour views, 250 new 5-star accommodation rooms, new conferencing facilities, alterations to the Ballroom allowing it to hold up to 1500 people and reorienting the complex to face the Harbour and city skyline, providing up to 30 new restaurant and bars.

“Star City has started to create the best entertainment complex in Sydney,” said Good.

The event will be held in the Tapas side of Sean’s Kitchen, Level 2 of Star City on June 9th from 6-9pm. Registration for the event is required by Thursday June 4th and tickets are $75 for non-ISES members and $60 for members and their staff.
