With Turkey gaining momentum as an incentive destination for Australian groups, Mercury Silver Aviation (MSA) has pulled off an industry coup by signing destination management company Koptur Tourism as its launch client.

MSA is the general sales agent of the Orient Express Travel Group. Koptur Tourism counts AC Nielsen, Blue Danube Holidays and Parcours Voyages amongst its major clients.

MSA manager, Peter Power, said the 27-year-old Koptur Tourism had an established reputation for its creative and individual events in Turkey.

“We feel privileged at MSA to be their Australian partner,” he said, noting that Turkey was gaining momentum as a preferred conference and incentive destination for Australian groups. “It therefore has enormous scope for the Australian market.”

Power said two of the popular hotels for groups in Turkey were Conrad Istanbul and Wow Topkapi Antalya, and trips for ANZAC Day at Gallipoli remained high on the agenda for Australian companies.
