Hawaii continues to be a popular conference destination for Australian companies despite the economic downturn and a weaker Australian dollar.

Hawaiian Airlines, which had a strong showing at AIME last week, has reported strong group bookings for 2009 and is buoyant about the market in the short- and long-term.

To find out how the Hawaiian market is performing, SpiceNews spoke exclusively to Hawaiian Airlines general manager – sales and marketing – Australia, Sherilyn Robinson.
