Moët & Chandon will this year celebrate its decade-long relationship with Melbourne’s Spring Racing Carnival with three exclusive on- and off-track events.

The events are geared to create Moët & Chandon ‘moments’ in honour of the festival’s three eves: Derby, Cup and Oaks.

Derby Eve will see Melbourne couture salon Le Louvre transformed for a Champagne supper featuring waiters in Mao jackets, a sea of lanterns suspended from the ceiling and an Asian-inspired menu served in steamer boxes.

The annual Moët & Chandon Cup Eve Lunch will this year be celebrated with the creation of a French-inspired Orangerie at the Mossgreen Gallery in South Yarra, where guests will be welcomed and served from an oversized antique marble bathtub filled with   Moët & Chandon on ice. Lunch will be laid out on a single long table within the gallery that will showcase new works by accomplished Australian abstract artists.

The third event, Oaks Eve, is an intimate dinner party at the Le Bar at Bistro Guillaume at which Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage 2000 and the limited release Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Rosé 2000 will be served.

“We are proud of our racing history and look forward to many more years of active participation at this iconic sporting festival,” said Moët Hennessy Australia CEO, Robert Remnant. “This year, the off-track celebrations are another means of celebrating our decade at the Carnival.”
