Resort Corp has announced the sale of the management rights of its $210 million Noosa Sanctuary project and conference centre to Mirvac Hotels and Resorts.

The deal will include management rights to the property’s one, two and three bedroom Lagoon apartments, four level Precinct villas and exclusive four level Enclave homes. It also includes the management of facilities including a day spa, restaurant and bar, gymnasium, kids club and conference centre.

“The Quay West brand fits very well with Noosa, which is arguably one of Australia’s strongest tourism brands,” said Resort Corp co-managing director, Paul Brinsmead. “We have no doubt its addition will further expand and refresh the destination’s tourism offering.”

Scheduled to open in September 2009, Noosa Sanctuary will be known as the Quay West Resort Noosa.
